MOLLY’S GAME is based on the true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and finally, unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Her only ally was her criminal defense lawyer Charlie Jaffey, who learned that there was much more to Molly than the tabloids led us to believe.

This movie is extremely underrated!!!! It's a fast pace movie that never lags yet it's not hard to keep up so the 2hr 20min runtime flies by in the blink of an eye.

Great movie.. I loved it… but come on if you have the nuts, no player would ever fold. If hit a full boat, you’re not folding on the idea that your opponent has pocket Kings! Brilliant storyline with a great ending otherwise.

I hate gambling – but this was about her personal growth and the writing was awesome. 80%+ rotten tomato rating does not lie…

After a quite interesting and exciting book…. the film was 10 minutes of promise then BORING lazy directing and a non-charismatic lead actress. They managed to make this good story a boring sleeping pill. Cleavage can be nice but it was SO BAIT…so obviously present in nearly all scenes that it must have been to hold our attention and "cover up" poor acting. Elba almost saved the film. Almost. Too bad Famke Jansen was too old to play Molly.
